As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Assistant to join our team.

About the Role

This is more than just a retail sales position. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping customers, building relationships and contributing to the growth of our business.

Working alongside our experienced team, you will:

• Deliver outstanding customer service both in-store and over the phone

• Assist customers in selecting the right products and solutions for their needs

• Develop strong relationships with homeowners, contractors, landscapers and commercial customers

• Follow up customer enquiries and quotations

• Help create opportunities to bring customers into the store

• Process sales and customer orders

• Maintain showroom presentation, merchandising and stock displays

• Assist with general store duties, administration and housekeeping

• Actively contribute to the ongoing success and growth of Stihl Shop Dandenong

About You

You will be someone who:

• Has previous retail sales experience

• Loves working with people and building customer relationships

• Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Is proactive and takes initiative

• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Is organised and able to manage competing priorities

• Has strong attention to detail

• Is physically capable of working in a busy retail environment

• Enjoys learning new skills and product knowledge

• Is a team player who values accountability and professionalism

Experience in outdoor power equipment, hardware, automotive, machinery or trade-related industries will be highly regarded but is not essential.

Hours

• Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm

• Every second Saturday: 8:30am – 1:00pm
