The Company is a private multisite business in Australia and New Zealand, employing well over 650 people, with the primary focus in manufacturing pressure sensitive labels. 

About the opportunity: 

We are starting up a new business in Dandenong, VIC, at our new site we will production flexible packaging for the industrial market. To help us with starting up we are seeking a new team member to run our Laminator machine and support across our finishing machines.

As this is a start up position shift times and hours will be flexible as we increase volume and settle into the operational needs for the site 

Key Responsibilities Include: 

• Set up and operate laminating machines (or other finishing lines as required) for packaging production and apply lamination to printed labels/packaging in accordance with the job specifications

• Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as required

• Identify and report defects or inconsistencies to maintain high quality for our customers 

• Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Previous experience in manufacturing, printing or packaging production (preferred)

• Experience operating laminating or like finishing machines

• Be a team player that can  communicate effectively across multiple work groups

• Able to work autonomously and are self-motivated

• To have high attention to detail
