Our highly engineered products are at the forefront of technology, providing new and innovative solutions to the garage door industry for the residential, commercial and industrial sector. Our manufacturing facility in Dandenong South includes state of the art machinery, hydraulic presses and fully automated production lines.

About The Role

Due to continued business growth, we are seeking suitable candidates to fill the positions of Factory Hand on the production assembly line based at our plant in Dandenong South. These positions will initially be offered on a Casual basis and full-time hours. You may be required to work overtime during the week and on weekends mainly Saturdays for which you will be paid the applicable overtime rates. For the right candidates, they could potentially move into a permanent full-time role.

The successful candidates will possess the following:

• Experience with basic hand tools

• Assembling a variety of garage doors

• Preparing the doors for painting and powder coating, using manual or automatic sanding machine

• Loading and unloading of shipping containers

• Picking and packing of hardware

• Must be physically fit with ability to carry a maximum of 20 Kgs

• General cleaning and tidying of the factory areas

• Must be well presented, punctual and reliable

• Strong work ethic with a can-do attitude

• Forklift / EWP / High Risk Licence / White Card is advantageous but not essential

• Ideally you will have a driver’s Licence

• Ad hoc tasks as required

What’s on Offer

• Commencement base hourly rate is $33.60 per hour plus super

• Required for evening shifts
