We are now looking for a passionate and experienced Out of School Hours Care Worker to join our company.

For this awesome opportunity you will need:
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
A Certificate III or IV in Early Education will be highly considered.
Ability to lead a team and experience with Program Planning.
Experience working in OSHC, Teaching or the Children's Services Industry
A current employer Working with Children's Check a must.
Current and valid First Aid Certificate including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis or willing to obtain.
Key Responsibilities include:
Assist in the preparation of materials, equipment and resources for children's educational and recreational activities in the Before School Care, After School Care and Holiday Programs
Prepare and conduct age-appropriate activities for school age children in accordance with the My Time, Our Place (MTOP) Framework and the National Quality Framework
Supervise children's participation in recreational activities, ensuring they are safe, engaged and supported at all times
Manage children's behaviour in a positive and consistent manner, guiding their social development and fostering resilience and independence
Supervise the daily routine of children including arrival and departure procedures, transitions between activities and mealtimes
Monitor and maintain the hygiene and cleanliness of the service environment, equipment and food preparation areas in accordance with relevant health and safety standards
Assist in the preparation and provision of food for children in accordance with health, nutrition and dietary requirements and safe food handling procedures
Report risks, incidents and concerns regarding the health, safety and wellbeing of children to the OSH Manager in accordance with CommunityOSH policies
Participate in fire drills, lockdown procedures and other safety activities in accordance with CommunityOSH policies and regulatory requirements
Contribute to the evaluation of programs and activities, making recommendations to meet the current and emerging needs of the children in care
Build and maintain positive relationships with children, parents and the school community to promote a sense of belonging and community within the program
Administer medication to identified children and complete required documentation and authorisations in accordance with medical management plans
