Are you an experienced HR Business Partner looking for an opportunity to make a genuine impact within a fast-paced FMCG environment?

Our client is a well-established and highly regarded FMCG organisation with a strong market presence across Australia. Due to continued growth and investment in their people strategy, an exciting opportunity has become available for a commercially focused Human Resources Business Partner to join their team in Melbourne's South Eastern suburbs.

About the Role:

Partnering closely with operational leaders across manufacturing, supply chain and corporate functions, you will play a critical role in driving people initiatives, building leadership capability, and supporting a high-performing workforce.

Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, you will act as a trusted advisor to leaders, providing strategic and operational HR support across the employee lifecycle.

This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic manufacturing environment where no two days are the same, balancing both strategic business partnering and hands-on HR responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with leaders to provide proactive HR advice and support across employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and organisational development.
  • Coach and develop leaders on people management best practices.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and culture-building activities.
  • Lead and contribute to HR projects and change management initiatives.
  • Provide guidance on performance improvement, disciplinary matters, investigations, and workplace issues.
  • Assist with talent management, succession planning, and leadership development programs.
  • Analyse workforce trends and provide insights to support business decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation, Awards, enterprise agreements, and company policies.
  • Collaborate closely with operational teams across manufacturing and supply chain functions.
About You:
  • Previous experience as a Human Resources Business Partner or HR Manager.
  • Experience working within FMCG, manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, or other fast-paced operational environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and employee relations practices.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with frontline and operational leaders.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong coaching, problem-solving, and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
