We are looking for a commercially minded Finance Controller to take on a unique combined role spanning Factory Controlling and Sales/Regional Controlling. You will be the financial partner to both Plant Manager and the Sales Director of Region APAC & South Africa, owning everything from production cost control to regional sales performance, pricing and growth initiatives. It is a broad, high-impact position for someone who enjoys connecting the factory floor with the commercial front line.

About the role

We are looking for a commercially minded Finance Controller to take on a unique combined role spanning Factory Controlling and Sales/Regional Controlling. You will be the financial partner to both plant management and the Sales Director of Region APAC & South Africa, owning everything from production cost control to regional sales performance, pricing and growth initiatives. It is a broad, high-impact position for someone who enjoys connecting the factory floor with the commercial front line.

What you’ll do:

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for the factory, and coordinate the regional budget and forecast processes

• Drive product costing, margin transparency and cost-improvement initiatives across manufacturing

• Track operational KPIs and deliver monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, including timely legal-entity closing

• Partner with the Sales Director of Region APAC & South Africa as a trusted sounding board on strategy, pricing and new growth projects

• Run portfolio and customer/product profitability analysis and provide decision-support analytics for pricing

• Strengthen working capital, credit risk management and stakeholder relationships across the region

What you’ll bring:

• A university degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a similar qualification

• Experience across both manufacturing cost/management accounting and sales finance controlling

• Strong Excel and analytical skills, with confidence in MRP/ERP systems and common analysis tools

• A commercial, entrepreneurial mindset with excellent communication and influencing skills

• The ability to build trusted relationships and work across national and international teams

• Flexibility to travel and work across time zones, with proficiency in English
