We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Accountant to join our finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and is confident partnering with finance and operational teams to deliver accurate reporting.

Key Responsibilities

·         Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports

·         Complete general ledger reconciliations and support month-end close activities

·         Manage inventory accounting tasks and stock reconciliations

·         Prepare manufacturing cost analysis and variance reporting

·         Support budgeting and forecasting processes

·         Maintain fixed asset records and support asset accounting processes

·         Assist external auditors and contribute to year-end audit activities

·         Identify opportunities to improve financial controls, reporting and processes

About You

You will bring strong technical accounting capability, commercial curiosity and the confidence to work closely with stakeholders across the business.

·         Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline

·         CA/CPA qualified or currently working towards qualification

·         Minimum 3 years’ accounting experience

·         Previous manufacturing experience preferred

·         Sound understanding of inventory and cost accounting principles

·         Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

·         Experience using ERP systems such as Oracle NetSuite, AS400, Xero or similar

·         Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills

·         Clear communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships
