CosmaxNBT is seeking a motivated and ambitious Senior Accountant for our Finance Department!

ABOUT THE ROLE

CosmaxNBT Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with a hands-on approach and high-ownership mentality. The role requires the right person to drive core financial operations and support the Finance Manager on day-to-day accounting functions.


WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Own end-to-end month-end closing including journals, accruals and prepayments

  • Prepare GRIR reports for mid-month and end-of month

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to resolve variances or issues

  • Complete Balance Sheet reconciliations

  • Maintain the Fixed Assets Register

  • Oversee AR & AP processes

  • Handle tax compliance tasks which include BAS, IAS, FBT

  • Audit support through liaising with auditors

  • Ad hoc process development and project

  • Supervising and training junior team members

  • Undertake ad hoc tasks as required

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Qualifications in a relevant degree (Essential).

  • 3-5 years' experience in a similar role (Essential).

  • Experience in operating SAP accounting software (Desirable).
