We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper & Accounts Assistant to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across a variety of finance and administration functions in a fast-paced environment. You will support the day-to-day finance operations of the business, with responsibilities spanning accounts payable, reconciliations, bookkeeping support, administration and asset/vehicle coordination.

Working closely with the finance team, you will play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing supplier relationships and supporting efficient business operations.

Key Responsibilites

·         Processing supplier invoices and payment runs

·         Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies

·         Managing overdue and unapproved accounts payable reporting

·         Reviewing supplier pricing and verifying invoices against approved quotes and agreed charges

·         Liaising with suppliers to resolve invoice discrepancies and arrange credit adjustments where required

·         Maintaining accurate financial records and reconciliations

·         Supporting bank reconciliations and bookkeeping functions

·         Managing company credit card reconciliations and receipt matching

·         Assisting with trust and owner corporation accounting support

·         Coordinating company vehicle and asset administration

·         Managing fuel cards, toll accounts and associated vehicle expenses

·         Supporting plant and equipment administration, servicing and compliance tracking

·         Providing general finance and administration support to the wider team

·         Working across integrated accounting (MYOB) and property/facilities management systems

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Administration or Bookkeeping

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel

  • Experience using accounting and business management systems

  • A proactive and team-focused approach

Previous experience working within a property, facilities management or multi-entity environment will be highly desirable.
